In order to do your job the best you can it is important to have up to date information. You can also keep the proshop and marshals up to date by entering the cart numbers of each group and clicking them off as they tee off so we know who is up on tee.
Use the computer as an imprortant tool, it will also tell you how many and who in each group has paid their greenfee. This allows us to not have to check receipts like many other courses. Checking receipts as the first questions as a group comes up shows that we do not trust our customers and starts their day in a negative manner. With the computer you can see who has paid and radio the proshop if there are any discrepencies ie. there are 3 people paid in a group but 4 people standing in front of you. Make sure you find out ALL the information you can before you ask for proof of greenfee paid.
Please call the proshop if you have any computer problems and they will do their best to get you back up and running as soon as they have the chance. Effective use of the computer can almost limit radio chatter between the proshop to zero.
